Get a health MOT at CrownGate
Free wellness and lifestyle checks are on offer to visitors to CrownGate Shopping Centre on Saturday (March 14th).
A team of health and wellbeing experts from the Nuffield Health, Fitness and Wellbeing Centre will be in Friary Walk from 10am to 2pm, carrying out a number of health checks on shoppers.
The wellness team will measure weight, body fat and blood pressure using the latest technology, as well as talking through the best ways for people to keep fit and healthy.
The event comes ahead of a big Wellness Open Day at the centre, off the Droitwich Road, in Worcester, on Monday 16th March, when people can enjoy a free day’s trial membership, gain health advice and take part in exercise classes.
Nuffield Centre Manager, Robert Coster, said: “We will be down at CrownGate to offer shoppers a free series of health checks comprising weight, body fat and blood pressure, as these are three of the biggest indicators of people’s health and wellbeing.
“We will be offering advice, and giving people the chance to book a place at our Wellness Open Day.
Erica Burlace, CrownGate centre manager, said: "People really underestimate just how important health and wellbeing are, so it is great to have the Nuffield team in the centre, giving people the chance to assess their health levels and get valuable advice on how to stay happy and healthy."
