Swap shops in CrownGate
Children
can drop in and exchange their collectible toys and cards thanks to
special swap shops at The Entertainer in CrownGate Shopping Centre.
The store holds two swap shops every Saturday morning, the first from 10am-11am for children with Match Attax football cards and the second from 11am-noon for those with Gogo’s Crazy Bones collectible toys.
Store manager Tina Ross explained: “Children really love coming in and exchanging their unwanted Match Attax or their series one, two and three Crazy Bones miniature monsters with either a selection we have in store, or with each other.
“It gives children the chance to interact and share, to their own benefit and each other’s. The smiles on the faces of children who have finally found the toy they have been after for ages just can’t be beaten – there are huge grins all round.
“Anyone who manages to complete the whole collection of either Match Attax or Crazy Bones will get a very special Entertainer certificate to mark their achievement.”
For information on when the swap shops will be held throughout the Easter holidays, call the store on 01905 729965 or see the posters in windows of the store in CrownGate.
Erica Burlace, CrownGate centre manager said: “This is a great opportunity for children to learn about sharing and working together with others and is a great opportunity for parents to entertain their children during the Easter holidays.
“So parents, bring your children down and get them swapping!”
The Entertainer is also running a competition to win £50 worth of vouchers to spend in store. The chain is giving away £3,000 in vouchers this year and by picking up a leaflet in store and filling in their name and email address, people can be entered into a national monthly prize draw to win the vouchers.
