MJ Albums flying off the shelf at HMV
Michael Jackson albums have been flying off the shelves at HMV, in CrownGate Shopping Centre, since news of the music star’s death.
The store has completely sold out of all Michael Jackson albums, as customers flocked to the store to buy the star’s albums, following his sudden death on Thursday.
HMV assistant manager Russ Mather said: “It was incredible – customers were coming in in their droves to snap up any MJ albums – we had his Number Ones album in the sale for £4 so more than 100 albums sold out in two days – customers couldn’t get enough.
“We’ve put in a big order now so we’ll be getting plenty more in to cope with the demand.”
