Catwalk comes to CrownGate for week two of Fashion Fortnight!
Hairstyling demonstrations, an Animal extravaganza and the grand finale fashion show spectacular are all on offer to shoppers during week two of CrownGate Shopping Centre’s Fashion Fortnight.
Latest to join the long list of events, entertainment and prize draws taking place until Saturday 17th October, is Animal.
The team will be displaying their unmissable Animal VW Beetle in Bell Square, hosting a ‘design a surfboard/snowboard competition’ and handing out a raft of customer offers and freebies all day on Thursday 15th.
Clarins experts will be in Bell Square on Tuesday 13th, offering beauty demonstrations, skincare consultations and free samples from 11am, and Regis salon, based in House of Fraser will be carrying out hairstyling demonstrations from 10am on Friday 16th.
Wine and chocolates are on offer at Debenhams on Monday 12th, the Art House Café hosts a taster station all week, and House of Fraser launches its Win A Personal Shopper Experience on Thursday 15th.
All eyes will then be on Bell Square, as it is transformed into a stunning catwalk by experts Fashion First, for the fully-choreographed grand finale Fashion Show Spectacular, on Saturday 17th, with shows taking place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Professional models will showcase the very latest trends from House of Fraser – including its Therapy, Warehouse, Oasis and Boutique ranges - and Debenhams will bring its Debut and Betty Jackson brands to the catwalk.
Gerry Weber will display some sumptuous luxury whilst Animal will show off its ultra-trendy winter active-wear and Roscoe and Crombie will show the men how it is done with some stylish new season looks.
Shoppers will also be able to pick up free CrownGate goodie bags, packed with products from the centre during the day.
The action doesn’t stop there either - three lucky ladies will also have the chance to win an outfit worth £150 from either Animal, Debenhams or House of Fraser in a special Beat the Stylist competition, running between fashion shows.
CrownGate centre manager, Erica Burlace, said: “Fashion Fortnight has so far brought a real buzz and excitement to the centre, and we are thoroughly looking forward to the next week full of events, particularly our Fashion Show Spectacular.
“We have never done anything on this scale before, and I would encourage everyone to come down and get involved in the action.”
Continuing throughout the second week of events is the grand hamper prize draw. Customers have the chance to win one of CrownGate’s luxury hampers, packed with different products from stores in the centre.
