CrownGate Community Choir - first concert this Satruday!
Crowngate Community Choir will be giving its first concert this Saturday (July 3rd) at 2pm. It will take place in St Helen's Church, Fish St, and tickets will be available on the door for £3.
The choir runs from 12.30pm to 1.45pm every Tuesday at the Elgar School of Music on Deansway, next to House of Fraser in Worcester city centre.
Gill Lumsdon, head of the music school, said: “The idea of the choir is that everyone is welcome – whether you like to sing in a group, just for fun, or fancy nipping along in your lunch hour for an enjoyable break from work.
“We sing everything from jazz and classical through to chart music, and you really don’t need to be a brilliant singer – or even have any previous experience – to join us.
“You don’t need to read music – this is for people who really enjoy singing.”
