Strong first year of trading for Gerry Weber
International women’s clothing chain Gerry Weber has reported a strong first year of trading in Worcester city centre.
The store, in CrownGate Shopping Centre has reported that it is performing ten per cent above its company target for the store and has developed a loyal customer base during its first twelve months in the city.
The German-based company now has more than 340 stores across the world, though the Worcester store is only the seventh to open in the UK.
Gerry Weber spokesman David Fenton explained: “We are very happy with our first year of trading in Worcester, especially during a challenging period for the whole of the retail industry.
“We have developed a strong loyal customer base through stocking great products, holding a range of in-store events and maintaining excellent levels of customer service and we look forward to continuing to strengthen the brand in Worcester over the coming years.”

“Its stylish, quality offering and exemplary customer service have all cemented its reputation as a key city retailer and we are confident that it will enjoy continued success as it establishes its reputation even further.”
Gerry Weber celebrated its first birthday with a 10 per cent off event for all of its customers.
