Santa Claus is coming to town!

Worcester welcomes Father Christmas later this week when he arrives in the city for the much-anticipated procession to his new, interactive grotto in CrownGate Shopping Centre.

Children and grown-ups alike are invited to join him on Sunday 20th November, from 1pm, when Father Christmas will travel by horse-drawn carriage down the High Street, past the Guildhall before continuing along The Cross. He will then travel down Angel Street, through Angel Place and on into Friary Walk.

Wyvern FM will be in the centre to welcome the Father Christmas into his grotto, as well as ask him some all important questions about his plans for the big day.

Festivities begin at the grotto from 1.30pm, where Father Christmas will be meeting and greeting children for free throughout the festive period.

Children will also be able to post their letters to Father Christmas in CrownGate’s special post box which is just outside the grotto.

The FREE grotto will be open Tues/Weds/Friday -12pm to 4pm; Thurs - 2pm to 6pm; Sat - 12pm to 4pm; Sun - 12pm to 2pm until Friday 23rd December, when Father Christmas will set off on his journey to deliver presents to children all over the world.
