‘What to wear’ weddings

If you are anything like me, you won’t have failed to notice that wedding season is well and truly here, bringing with it the usual ‘what to wear’ dilemma.

Luckily, with this year’s dresses ranging from sleek figure-hugging visions in deep turquoise to floaty-chiffon dreams in coral pink, there will certainly be an outfit out there for you.

Coast in House of Fraser is a wedding guest’s paradise.  For an injection of bold colour, their Nicola dress, at £125 is a beautiful hot pink and their Lilou dress at £95 is a fabulous, poppy-adorned number in blues and reds. 

Debut in Debenhams is also one to visit – for the on-trend monochrome look try their black embellished babydoll dress at £70 and for an elegant, feminine outfit go for their cobalt floral corsage evening dress at £60.

Debenhams is also the place to find some fabulous fascinators to complement all dresses – the feather loop hairgrip is beautiful at £15 and the taffeta loop hairband is simple, stylish and just £12.

The Red Herring and Debut Debenhams ranges also feature some fabulous shoes from ivory satin peep toes to chocolate brown stilettos, ideal for finishing off that wedding outfit.

Every woman knows how essential a handbag is, and this season’s collection of cute clutches is vast.  Head for BHS, for their satin clutch in a range of colours for just £12. 

Finally, to capture just how gorgeous you look in your new outfit, pop into Boots and pick up a disposable camera for under £10 and get snapping!
