Dune comes up trumps for sensational summer sandals

Yes, I admit it, shoes are most definitely a weakness of mine. 

Summer, the time of the sandal, is just around the corner, and as those new season styles emerge, a battle between heart and wallet follows.

Top of my list are these ‘Python’ ruffle sandals from Dune, in House of Fraser (main pic).  Low enough for comfy but quirky daywear, and smart enough for jazzing up a shift dress or tulip mini for a trip to the bar, these are definitely not lacking in the style stakes, capturing the continuing ruffle trend a treat.  These are £65.

However, they only just made it to the top spot, as Dune has come up trumps with another winning sandal that fits the cool but comfy category.  These ‘Hobart’ sandals, £60, are beaded to perfection, and will add a touch of glamour to summers floaty dresses or city shorts.

As summer comes along, so does the raft of weddings and parties, and these beautiful ‘Sateen’ peep-toes, at £85 (above), are the perfect companion to this season’s wedding and party outfits.
