We Can Do More
Welcome to Crowngate Shopping Centre, Worcester, a vibrant city rooted in community and culture.
This September will focus on the collective ambition of brands within Crowngate Shopping Centre to strive towards more sustainable practices.
Through positive small steps, such as sustainable product stocking, garment repair, up or recycling, food wastage preservation, and natural wellbeing, those visiting can discover how they too can take greater steps to a more sustainable tomorrow.
And part of this commitment is supporting innovative and sustainably minded voices of the future.
Those visiting Crowngate Shopping Centre will discover a series of sustainability focused moments that celebrate what we can collectively do to ‘Do More’. As it is up to us all.
A highlight at Crowngate Shopping Centre is our commitment to sustainable travel. In partnership with West Mercia Police, Bike Worcester, Evotech, Worcester City Council, Park that Bike and Bikeability, we are proud to offer a free and accessible secure cycle storage facility, located in Friary Walk.
From hosting free bike marking events, being a community hub for local cyclists and cycle groups, and offering a self-service repair facility, the pop-up is designed to inspire small, sustainable changes in our community that collectively will make a difference to the future of our planet.
Be sure to visit our new Bug Hotel in Saw Mill Walk Garden (in-between Crowngate and The Hive building), a purpose-built wildlife sanctuary, which utilises garden waste. Students from Perry Wood Primary and Nursery School and Worcestershire Children First have helped us to create a haven for hedgehogs, bees, ladybirds, and more.
When visiting Crowngate, please ensure you use the zero waste to landfill bins provided around the shopping centre. Why not consider opting for eco-friendly products from our brands who are working hard every day to help people live more sustainable lives.
